Who We Are

New Hope Baptist Church is a New Testament church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are a local body of baptized believers who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the two ordinances of Christ, committed to His teachings, exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in us by His Word, and seeking to extend His gospel to the ends of the earth.

Dear Friend,
Thank you for taking the time to check us out. I want to tell you a little bit about who we are. New Hope Baptist Church exists to worship and serve God, and hopefully, bring Him glory. We want to introduce Jesus, our Lord and Savior, to those in our community who need and desire Him. We want to be led by the Holy Spirit in all that we do. We strive as individuals and a church to conduct our lives in a biblical fashion. God's Word is very important to us.
I strive to make each sermon accurately reflect God's Word and make it applicable to our daily lives. I like to try to answer the question, "Well, if the Bible says this, then so what? What does it mean to me in my everyday life?" At New Hope Baptist Church our desire is to live out our faith each day because whatever life may bring us, God's loving hand is always there to guide and comfort us. It's up to us to learn through the Bible how to see God at work in our lives.
We are a relatively small, but very friendly church. We sing all of the great hymns of our faith. We have socials about once a month- pot lucks, picnics; movies and other fun activities for the entire family. New Hope Baptist Church is a great place to get involved in whatever God is leading you to do.
Please let me invite you to visit us. God has a church home for every believer and New Hope Baptist Church may be yours! God also has a place for those who may not know if they are believers or not. New Hope Baptist Church is a place to come and find that out. You are welcome with us.
